The concept is simple: Sylwia opens her Lakewood Ranch Corporate Park studio for a full day of back-to-back mini sessions, and you book the time slot that fits your schedule.

Mini sessions are available for headshots, personal branding portraits, maternity, child milestones, senior portraits, dance portraits, and more. Sessions are studio-based, fully guided, and delivered with the same artistry and attention that defines every Sylwia Ok Photography experience - in a shorter, more accessible format.

Mini Marathon Days are announced throughout the year. When dates are available, they fill quickly, especially around back-to-school, end-of-year, and spring portrait seasons. If you're considering a mini session, reach out early or check back regularly for upcoming dates.

Mini Marathon Day is specifically designed for professionals who need a polished, current headshot without the time commitment of a full custom session. In 45 minutes at Sylwia Ok Photography's Lakewood Ranch studio, you'll walk away with professionally lit, expertly posed, and fully retouched images ready for LinkedIn, your company website, email signatures, and any professional platform where first impressions matter.

  • Mini Marathon Days are available for headshots, personal branding portraits, maternity portraits, child milestone sessions (including first birthdays and smash cake), senior portraits, and dance portraits. The format works best for individual or paired sessions in a single studio setting. Multi-subject family portraits, large group sessions, and sessions requiring location changes or extended creative direction are better suited to a full Custom or Deluxe session - Sylwia is happy to discuss which format is right for you.

  • Individual Mini Marathon Day sessions are typically 45 minutes. The format is designed to be efficient and focused - Sylwia guides you through the session quickly and professionally, making the most of the time without ever making you feel rushed. Because the studio is set up and ready before you arrive and Sylwia knows exactly how to work within the format, the quality of the images is not compromised by the shorter duration. You're welcome to bring multiple outfit options and change within your time slot.

  • For Mini Marathon Day sessions, we recommend arriving camera-ready - hair and makeup done before your appointment. Hair and makeup artist services can be arranged for full Custom sessions only. If you'd like a referral to a local stylist who can prepare you ahead of your session, just let Sylwia know when you book and she'll be happy to point you in the right direction. For headshot sessions specifically, keeping hair and makeup natural and polished tends to photograph best - Sylwia can share specific preparation tips when you book.

  • All Mini Marathon Day sessions take place in Sylwia Ok Photography's commercial studio in Lakewood Ranch Corporate Park, conveniently accessible from Sarasota, Bradenton, and surrounding areas. The studio is fully equipped with professional lighting, multiple backdrop options, and everything needed for a complete portrait session. Mini Marathon Days do not include on-location or outdoor sessions - for location-based sessions, a full Custom session is the right format.

  • Yes! Completely and throughout. You do not need to know what to do with your hands, how to angle yourself, or how to make a natural expression on demand. Sylwia guides every pose, every angle, and every expression. This is one of the most common concerns people have before their first professional portrait session, and it's exactly why working with a photographer of Sylwia's experience and skill makes such a difference. Most clients arrive nervous and leave genuinely surprised at how comfortable the experience was, and how much they like the results.

  • You're welcome to bring as many outfit options as you'd like , there's no limit on what you can bring to the studio. The practical limit is the time in your session slot. For a 45 minute session, most clients can comfortably accommodate two-three outfit changes. Sylwia will let you know during your session how the timing is going and how many changes are realistic. Pro tip: bring outfits that are easy to change into quickly, and avoid complicated layering or jewelry that takes time to swap.

  • Image selection happens the same day as your session, right there in the studio before you leave. Sylwia reviews the best images from your session with you, and you choose your favorites on the spot. This means you leave knowing exactly which images you're getting, with no waiting and no wondering. Final images are fully retouched and delivered electronically within a few business days of your session.

  • A Mini Marathon Day session is a focused, studio-based format at special pricing, ideal for clients who need specific deliverables (a headshot, a few branding images, a milestone portrait) in an efficient timeframe. A full Custom session offers extended session time, multiple locations, more outfit changes, and a deeper pre-session planning process including an inspirational board and styling consultation. Many clients use Mini Marathon Day as a first experience with Sylwia Ok Photography and return for a full Custom session when they want a more comprehensive portrait experience. Both options deliver the same artistry and quality - they just differ in scope and investment.

  • Mini Marathon Days are announced throughout the year and vary by season.
