SRQ Mission Motherhood is Sylwia Ok Photography's most personal project - a portrait series and community celebration dedicated to honoring the wisdom, strength, and beauty of motherhood in all its forms. Whether you are becoming a mother, in the thick of it, or celebrating a mother you love, this is for you.

Sylwia Ok is a Master Photographer (M.Photog., CPP) with over 13 years of experience photographing mothers and families across Sarasota, Bradenton, and Lakewood Ranch, and a mother herself, which is exactly why this project exists.

About the SRQ Mission Motherhood Project

SRQ Mission Motherhood is more than a portrait session - it is a community art project. Participating mothers become part of a curated portrait exhibition that celebrates the full spectrum of motherhood in the Sarasota community: the new mother in the first tender weeks, the mother of toddlers who hasn't slept in two years, the mother watching her children leave for college, the grandmother holding a newborn grandchild for the first time.

If you choose to be part of the project, your portrait will be displayed as part of the exhibition alongside a quote in your own words. You become part of a collective story - a visual record of what motherhood looks like in this community, at this moment in time.

Participation in the exhibition is entirely optional. All mothers who book a Mission Motherhood session receive the same beautiful portrait experience regardless of whether they choose to be part of the public display.

Your MOTHERHOOD PORTRAIT Session

A motherhood portrait session with Sylwia Ok Photography is an act of remembrance for your future self, and a gift to the children who will one day search for images of you and find something extraordinary.

Sessions are designed to celebrate every dimension of the role: a mother alone, radiant and seen; a mother with her children, capturing the way they look at her; a daughter with her mother, honoring a bond that shapes everything. All of these are welcome, all of these are worthy, and all of these are done with the care and artistry that Sylwia Ok Photography brings to every session.

SRQ Mission Motherhood sessions are available as a special limited-time offer at $390 (regularly $690) - a fully guided 45-minute studio experience with 2 fine art portrait deliverables. Spots are limited.

    Throughout your session, I will expertly guide you through poses that complement you and your unique body type, ensuring you are in the most flattering lighting to capture your best angles from head to toe

Three generations of women smiling, a grandmother, mother, and child, all wearing pink and sitting together.

For some women, motherhood comes effortlessly, while others face a journey filled with unexpected hurdles. I belonged to the latter category...

It took me seven years of grappling with unexplained fertility issues, enduring the heartbreak of four lost pregnancies, before I finally became a mom to Sophie.

The day Sophie entered this world remains etched as the most beautiful moment of my life. I yearned for photographs from my childhood, to compare my mini-me with my own past self. I longed for photographs of my mother and me, capturing our precious bond.

I made an annual commitment of being photographed with my miracle baby so one day when she looks for photos of me, she will find them all in a beautiful book collection.
