Classic White: A simple, elegant white backdrop to let the beauty of dancer shine through. We focus on clean lines, posture, and form, capturing your dancer’s precision in a studio setting. A classic white keeps the attention on their expression and technique.

ARRIVAL & SESSION PREPARATION

Please ensure you/your ballet student arrives promptly for their scheduled portrait session. To maintain an organized environment, we ask that you wait in your car or in the hallway outside the studio until it’s your/your dancer’s turn.

THE BALLET PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

We aim to provide a seamless, enjoyable portrait experience that reflects the beauty and grace of ballet. Our online ordering system is simple to use, ensuring that you have a smooth experience from start to finish. No paper proofs or forms are necessary, you can view and choose the images that best capture you/your dancer’s artistry before deciding on any purchases.

Natural, Graceful Poses

Each dancer will be photographed individually for approximately 15 minutes. Rather than forced poses or expressions, we focus on capturing the natural grace of your dancer’s ballet training. Whether they’re in an elegant arabesque or holding a poised attitude, the session is designed to highlight the strength, technique, and joy they have developed through their training.

If your dancer has multiple roles and costumes, we will do our best to accommodate them within the 15-minute session. However, if you anticipate needing more time for costume changes and additional portraits, we recommend booking two back-to-back sessions to ensure ample time for everything.

Multiple Dancers or Siblings

If you have multiple students at the ballet school or your dancer have a bestie, please book consecutive time slots. Each dancer will be photographed individually, showcasing their unique skill and style, and then we can arrange 1-2 poses of them together. Each dancer will have their own gallery to preserve these moments.

Clothing Recommendations for Ballet Portraits:

- your costume(s) for Nutcracker | please arrange with Ballet School to borrow the costume for a session

- You can also choose to bring your own ballet outfit

- Tutus or ballet skirts can add an extra touch of elegance

- Pointe shoes should be clean and prepared, with ribbons neatly tied

- Ensure that clothing is wrinkle-free

- Have your makeup and hair done before the session

This ballet portrait experience is designed to celebrate your dancer’s hard work, dedication, and passion for ballet. Our goal is to capture their grace, strength, and joy in a way that you will treasure for years to come.

ACCESSING YOUR DANCER’S BALLET PORTRAITS

How to Access the Portraits:

After the Portrait Session, your dancer will receive a special QR code. Scan the code and sign up with your email and phone number to register for their gallery.
Once the gallery is ready (approximately 2 weeks after Portrait Day), you will receive a notification and the link via text and email to view and purchase your favorite portraits.

Gallery Details:

A typical proof set will feature 5+ carefully retouched images. The exact number may vary depending on your dancer’s comfort in front of the camera, but our goal is to offer a range of poses that showcase their ballet skill and elegance.

Ordering Details:

You will only order the portraits you love.
Print, Digital, and Print+Digital Packages will be available for purchase during the Ordering Week. After that, the gallery will remain accessible for another 2 weeks with only A La Carte options before being archived.
All printed packages (if chosen) will be produced on archival photographic paper and delivered to your dance school within 2 weeks after the Ordering Week.
