PORTRAIT DAY INFORMATION

HOW IT WORKS

1. Reserve Your Time

Choose an available Portrait Day time for your child.

2. Choose Your Prepaid Portrait Collection

Select how much you would like to prepay toward your child's portraits.

3. Portrait Day

Bring your child to the studio on September 12 at your scheduled time. Each child is photographed individually in a short, fun portrait session designed to capture natural expressions and personality.

4. Receive Your Private Gallery

Once the portraits are ready, you'll receive an email and text with access to your child's private online gallery.

5. Choose Your Favorites

Your prepaid amount becomes a Portrait Credit. You'll receive a unique voucher for the full amount you prepaid to enter at gallery checkout.

Love more than you expected? You can upgrade to a larger collection and simply pay the difference at checkout.

SIBLINGS

Have more than one child at Baby Fox Academy?

Please reserve one back-to-back appointment for each child.

Each child will receive an individual gallery, and when time allows, I will also create a few portraits of the siblings together.

If you would like to include a sibling who does not attend Baby Fox Academy, they are welcome too. Please reserve an additional consecutive time slot for them.

THE PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

Preschool Portrait Day is designed to be simple, relaxed and fun.

No stiff poses. No forced smiles. My goal is to capture the expressions, quirks and personality that make your child uniquely them.

Each child is photographed individually for approximately 5 minutes.

Please arrive a few minutes before your scheduled appointment so we can keep Portrait Day running smoothly.

When you arrive, you may wait in your car or in the hallway outside the studio until it is your child's turn.

PORTRAIT SETS

MODERN PRESCHOOL PORTRAITS

A clean, bright backdrop creates timeless, magazine-inspired portraits that keep all the attention on your child.

Parents are welcome to bring one small prop that reflects their child's personality, such as a favorite toy, flower, book or special item.

SIGNATURE FALL PORTRAITS

A seasonal fall-inspired setting will also be available for Portrait Day.

Your child may be photographed on one or both sets during their scheduled session.

AFTER PORTRAIT DAY

Once your child's portraits are ready:

  1. You'll receive an email and text with a link to the private gallery.

  2. You'll receive a unique Portrait Credit voucher equal to the amount you prepaid.

  3. Browse your child's portraits and choose your favorites.

  4. Enter your voucher at checkout.

  5. If you upgrade your collection, simply pay the difference.

Your prepaid Portrait Credit makes ordering easy while still allowing you to see the portraits before deciding exactly which images you want to keep.

PREPARING FOR PORTRAIT DAY

Clothing Tips

Simple outfits photograph beautifully.

  • Solid colors and subtle patterns work especially well.

  • Avoid large logos, text and very busy patterns.

  • Layers and textures can add visual interest.

  • Make sure clothing is clean and wrinkle-free.

  • Coordinate socks and shoes with the outfit since full-length portraits may be created.

  • Bring your child dressed and ready to photograph whenever possible.

Most importantly, choose something that feels like your child.

Talk About It

A little preparation can make a big difference. Tell your child that they're coming to have fun, play and have their picture taken.

There's no need to practice a smile. Natural expressions are always the goal.
