Preschool PICTURE DAYS!

Please arrive on time for your scheduled appointment and stay in the car or outside the studio (in the hallway) until your time comes up.

THE PORTRAIT EXPERIENCE

I strive to make the process smooth and straightforward with excellent communication and an easy online ordering system. Say goodbye to paper proofs and order forms—parents can view and choose their child’s images before making a purchase, ensuring you only buy what you love!

No Cheesy or Forced Smiles!

• Each child will be photographed individually for about 5 minutes.

• If you have multiple children at the preschool (or you have younger or older siblings that would like to join the fun, sign each of them individually with back to back spots and each will have their own individual gallery. Additionally, they will be photographed together with 1-2 poses added to their galleries.

1 Set Up in the Studio that works great for:

• Modern Preschool Portraits. These magazine-style portraits feature your child against a simple white backdrop, eliminating distractions and highlighting their unique personality. Parents are welcome to bring a small prop, such as a flower or a favorite toy, to add a personal touch. The clean, modern background ensures these timeless portraits can be enjoyed and displayed year-round. Imagine your child as a "model for the day"!

• Graduation Portraits. Celebrate this special milestone with professional portraits of your child in a cap and gown provided by the preschool. The session includes a mix of classic, formal poses and fun, candid moments—like tossing the cap in the air—capturing both the excitement and significance of the occasion.

• You can choose one or two sets for your 5-minute time slot. If you think your child will need more time, please reserve 2 spots back to back to have extra time. Each student/time slot comes with a separate gallery and package, so keep this in mind when scheduling.

How to Access the Portraits:

• After Portrait Day, your child will receive a special QR code. Scan the code and sign up with your email and phone number to sign up for their gallery.

• Once the gallery is ready (approximately 4 weeks after Portrait Day), you will receive a notification and the link via text and email to view and purchase your favorite portraits.

A typical proof set will include 3-6 retouched portraits/poses. The number of portraits may vary based on how comfortable your child is in front of the camera—I will do my best to provide a variety of poses.

Ordering Details:

• You will only order the portraits you love.

• Print, Digital, and Print+Digital Packages will be available for purchase during the Ordering Week. After that, the gallery will remain accessible for another 2 weeks with only A La Carte options before being archived.

• All printed packages (if chosen) will be produced on archival photographic paper and delivered to your preschool within 2 weeks after the Ordering Week.
  

PREPARING FOR THE PORTRAIT DAY

As Portrait Day approaches, start talking to your child about how exciting it will be and how much fun they'll have with the photographer. This will help them feel more confident and prepared!

Clothing Recommendations:

• Solid colors or simple patterns work well with neutral backgrounds

• Avoid clothing with logos or text

• Avoid sleeveless tops

• Ensure that your child’s clothing is clean and wrinkle free

• Make sure socks and shoes match the outfit, as they will be visible in some of the images.
